This page provides a repository for financial data about the Worthington School District. All of the information gathered is public data and easily accessible if you know where to look, however, if you don't know where to look, it can be maddening to try and find. On this page, I will include detailed information about state funding, local funding, forecasts and spending. As always, if you have any questions about any of this data, please feel free to contact me.
The first data elements
provided are the district's long form five year forecast and the district's SF3
as provided by the state department of education. The 5 year forecast is
approved by the board of education twice a year, usually in May and in October,
while the SF3 form is done monthly, although it does not change much over time.
The Date column will reflect the approval date of a new five year forecast. The
SF3 column will then refer to the current SF3 as of the date of the forecast
approval. A change link is also provided so Worthington residents can keep
track of changes between forecast versions.
Starting with the 2009-2010 school
year, the SF3 has been replaced by the PASS form, a change necessitated by HB1
and Governor Strickland’s education reform package. The PASS manual has detailed information about the new
funding formula.
