Parents should register children soon for the winter term of
the Worthington City School District's Elementary After
School Program.
Program Director Richard Bradley said registration begins
Jan. 12.
"Space is limited in most classes, so early registration is
encouraged," he said.
Classes begin the week of Jan. 26.
Academic enrichment classes for grades 1-6 include Science
Enrichment Club/Mad Science, Spanish I, Spanish II and
Chinese (Mandarin).
Math Enrichment is for grades K-1.
Arts and Entertainment classes include Storybook Theatre
(acting) for grades 1-3; Hogwarts Adventure (acting) for
grades 4-6; Acting Funny for grades 4-6; and Drama Club for
grades 1-3 and 3-6.
Recreation classes include tae kwon do, open to all children
and their parents; karate for grades K-6; cheerleading for
grades 1-6; and gymnastics for grades 1-6.
Other classes are American Red Cross baby-sitter training
for ages 11 and up; and Winter Magic, for grades 1-6.
