Today, I have just one
brief comment.. Typically, January is a time of renewal but it’s also a time
for looking back. It has been my absolute privilege and honor to work with each
of you, along with Gary Tyack and Bob Horton these last four years. There are
many issues where there is broad agreement in the district and on those few
issues where we might disagree, the discussion and debate has always been
productive and respectful and you can’t ask for anything more than that. I am
so grateful for the continued opportunity to serve this community and while
2010 may indeed be a time of renewal for our school district, the decades long
tradition of absolute excellence is something that will never change.
